I love this time of year, but especially look forward to Thanksgiving. I love how when the chill of Fall settles in how our thoughts turn to gratitude and thankfulness for what we have. Despite the tough world that we live in each day, it's so refreshing and uplifting to reflect on the good things in our lives.
So... to get my family in the "thankful spirit" I made up a Gratitude Tree. We're going to talk about the ways that we can all show gratitude to others, write down our ideas on the leaves, attach them to the tree and then display it where we can see it all month.
Then, I realized the November page from my "Annual Birthday Calendar" would make a great daily "I'm Thankful For..." advent list! Each day of the month has a line, so each day I'll write something I am grateful for. I printed off extras for my kids as well so we can each keep our own.
Along with the Freebies... I've also added a fun "Countdown to Turkey Day" to my Etsy Shop.
