I recently looked out my window and saw the leaves beginning to turn. This is our first Fall in Jersey and so far, I'm loving it! The air is crisp, the sticky humidity has vanished, Thanksgiving is around the corner and I love that snuggly feeling when you get up early, put on warm socks and send the kids to school in jeans and jackets. As I walked home from the bus stop this morning... I decided with all the "kid" time I've been committed to lately, it's probably time to pamper the hubby a bit. He gets lost in the shuffle of school supplies, homework, schedules, shopping, errands, holiday planning, play dates, sports and all the other chaotic things we have going on. So, this morning... I thought I'd do a little something for him.
He's the rough and tough, college football type... so cheesy stuff only makes him roll his eyes at me. Sad, but true. However, with the fun (and manly) colors of Fall and Thanksgiving - I thought I could get away with a little bit of mush. I wanted to remind him that even though I am a busy mom with a million priorities... I'm still "falling" in love with him everyday.
And... since anytime I do anything for myself, I can't help but make it into a printable - here's one for you! Write your hubs or boyfriend a little note, then hide these little reminder tags around his world so he'll bump into them for a few days. I think I might even attach his favorite candy to the tags so they become little random acts of sweetness too! He easily gets the shaft at our house as the kids and life take over... so this way, he'll be reminded that I still love & think of him amidst all the family chaos!

ReplyDeleteThese are very cute! I recently did a post on the same thing. (But, I'll admit your notes are way cuter!) It's important to remember the hubbys/significant others and it seems they are the easiest to forget about. Thanks for sharing! Visiting from Tatertots and Jello.
