I have so many things swirling around in my heart lately... I think this will be exactly what I need to see on my board this week to keep me going! My sweet-hubby - who has been through so much these last few years - begins yet another detour this week. After two courageous, back-to-back battles with cancer and a stem cell transplant, his recovery is proving to be more difficult that either of us imagined. His progression has stalled and we've been told he's gone as far as he can on his own. So - what will we do? We'll do what we do best and that is to keep fighting. Keep pushing forward. We'll do what it takes to help him regain the quality of life he fought so hard to win back. We both have anxiety, not yet understanding what it will entail and how long it will take as he starts a full physical rehab program this week in NYC. So... we are going to BE STRONG, BE COURAGEOUS and know that no matter what... the Lord is still there with us, every step of the way.
