{NEW SUBWAY ART} We Believe in Miracles

After 6 short (but wonderful) months of remission, we were saddened to learn recently that my husband's cancer has returned.  It's been a long few weeks of appointments, consults and prayer to lay out our next battle plan.  We are so very lucky to live in the NYC area with so many amazing doctors and world renowned Cancer Centers in our backyard.  We've assembled a team of specialists that we are very confident in and we are all ready to take this thing down again.  As a partner to top notch care, we believe much of the outcome still remains in the hands of the Lord and on our faith for Eric to be healed.  So, I decided to create something to display in our home that reminded all of us what we believe and a reminder of what can sustain us in the months ahead.  It felt so good to get back to my computer and design - funny how I express myself with fonts, but I do.  I think it's what I do best.  We have a fairly complicated surgery tomorrow, followed by several weeks of chemo and will try to get ahead of it once and for all with a stem cell transplant later this summer.  Thank goodness for modern medicine, advances in cancer treatments, early detection... so many miracles already!

I actually made two versions of this art and they both come in a variety of sizes.

I know it's hard to know what to do or what to say when someone you love is going through a serious battle.  Whether it's an accident, a serious illness, infertility, addiction or any seemingly insurmountable circumstance... let them know they aren't alone, that you love them and you can encourage them to look to God for comfort.  I've put this set in my shop and it's my hope that it'll give you something you can give to someone you love who is struggling - and in the process, please know that your purchase is helping us get to our miracle.

I would like to pass along many thanks and much love to all of you who have made my shop grow and become such a success for me over the years.  I know it's easy to just enjoy the freebies, but it's the purchases in my shop that allow me to dedicate the time I do to designing.  Without my shop, there would be no blog and no freebies.  So, thank you once again to those of you that keep my shop bustling and busy! I appreciate it far more than you can probably imagine.

In the coming months, I will most definitely be keeping my shop open.  The new instant download feature will ensure that you get your orders quickly and no longer need to wait for me to email links.  What a blessing that is!  I may take personalized items out of my shop from time to time - or I may increase my prices on those personalized pieces as my time will now be at a premium in regards to my family and Eric's care.  I will most likely not be taking any more custom orders, at least for the summer, and I may not respond to emails and notes as quickly as I have in the past.

What can you do?  There are so many things you can do to help me and my family if you'd like to do something.  First and foremost, if you are the praying type - we'll gladly accept every one. :)  Second, if you'd be willing to share this post, my blog or shop with your friends and family - to help my shop continue to grow, it would be much appreciated.  Every order will help us cover an expense, so if you can help my shop continue to grow, I would be so grateful.  As you do - please pass along BELIEVE as a new 20% off discount code.  Every time someone uses it, I'll know it's one of you or someone you shared my shop with. Lastly, your encouraging emails and comments help me keep smiling. :)

We're going to beat this.  We did it once, we'll do it again.  We believe in prayer.  We believe in the power of the Priesthood and of healing.  We believe faith can move mountains.  We believe in hope, grace and mercy.  We believe in miracles.
