Countdown to Valentine's!

Just when the Winter Blues seem to drag on forever... we get to start pulling out the Pinks and Reds of Valentine's to brighten things up!  It was hard, but I tried to ignore the fact that it was below zero outside and focus the heart warming fun of one of my favorite holidays instead!  Plus, I've also gotten about a dozen emails asking when my next "countdown" printable would be coming... so I knew I had to get to work!  I'm so glad you guys look forward to my new printables and love to hear from you in emails and in comments.   I love it and it makes this hobby of mine fun and rewarding.  Thanks!

To "craft" this advent, I decided to spray paint another batch of clipboards black and decorate the clip with coordinating ribbon.  My kids were going NUTS last night as I put them together.  Sorry kids, you've got a week to go before you can dive into these kisses!

{PS... Four Kids + Four Advents = More Work but Less Fighting}

To decorate my clip, I pre-cut 24-30 peices of 4 inch ribbon.  I mainly get my ribbon at Michaels and Walmart - I like to stick to the basics so I can use them for lots of projects.  I found some silver wire ribbon on clearance a while back and new it would be a fun accent with the silver from the kiss wrappers.  To put a cute, tight curl on wire ribbon, just wrap around a pencil!

So... it's time to chase away those Winter Blues and spice things up with Reds & Pinks.
